Level I parts can actually be quite complex, but can be made from a mold where the entire cavity is in one half of the mold. The other half is completely flat. Fine engraving is also available using cutters as small as .030". The engraving can be characters, shapes, etc. and will be raised in the parts.
Wall thickness' for the entire part should be as uniform as possible. Draft of at least 1/2 degree should be incorporated throughout the part as well wherever possible, especially on interior areas of the parts where material will shrink as it cools.
